Laura spent a year in Lyon, France as part of a university exchange program. As a “self-proclaimed Francophile” she was eager to adapt to the French way of life and drink in all the that the city and country had to offer. Laura’s account of her time in France describes her experience of culture shock, her adaptation to the slower pace of life and her advice for anyone considering a similar program.
